Dear CES grade 6 students and parent/guardian:

 We are currently organizing a ski trip to Asessippi Ski Resort. This trip will take place on Wednesday, February 15th, 2012.

Students have the option of renting equipment or taking their own skis or snowboards. Cost for this trip will be:

     Skiers with rentals:                 $39.00                      

     Skiers without rentals:            $24.00                                   

     Snowboarders with rentals:     $44.00

     Snowboarders without rentals: $24.00

     Helmet Rental:                       $3.50    *(helmets are required on the hill at all times)

     Tubing Only:                          $12.00

     Tubing Add-On:                      $8.00

These rates include lift tickets, mandatory lessons, and rental equipment if required. Please note the above prices do not include food and beverages. Students are encouraged to bring spending money for this purpose or to bring a bagged lunch. Food vouchers are also available for $8.00.

A reminder that Asessippi Ski Resort requires all students to wear a helmet at all times while on the hills! If your child does not have an industry approved ski helmet, please include the rental in your total.

Drivers will depart the school at approximately 7:00 am and return to the school at approximately 7:00 pm. Students are responsible for their transportation from home to school and from school to home.

Permission forms were sent home with the students, if you need another copy, just contact the school. (453-2393). Forms and fees are due by Friday, February 3rd. Please make all cheques payable to Carlyle Elementary School. We are also looking for drivers/chaperones for this trip. Please indicate on the forms if you are able to drive.
