These actions model good citizenship and ECS expects students and staff to hold themselves to these standards.

Everyone has the right to learn in a safe, secure environment that affords them the opportunity to develop their potential. It is also everyone’s responsibility to develop this safe, secure environment. ECS therefore expects students and staff to be sensitive and responsive to others so that a sense of decency, kindness and consideration will prevail.

People who are honest with themselves and with others are recognized and respected as persons of worth and integrity. Such people have a sense of self-worth while also being accepted and trusted by others because of their good character. ECS expects students and staff to be of such good character.

ECS is committed to providing a quality education so that students have the opportunity to build a vibrant future for themselves. The wide variety of courses and programs offered give all students the chance to develop theirpotential. A certain standard of conduct is expected from all students.
The basic expectation is that all students will conform to a standard of behaviour that is generally accepted as reasonable and in keeping with the values and expectations of our community. All students will behave in a way that will bring pride to the individual as wellas the school as a whole.
