The Redvers Junior Boys volleyball team hosted the SEDAA 2A Junior Boys Championships on November 9th. Eight teams participated in this year's championship. Those teams involved included: Rocanville, Lampman, Weyburn Junior High, Redvers, Oxbow, Radville, Weyburn St. Mikes, and Arcola. Redvers won their pool with a convincing 3-0 record. Redvers then went on to defeat Arcola in the semi-final. As a result, they met a strong Oxbow team in the final. Oxbow defeated Redvers quite easily in the first set, 25-12. In the second set Redvers prevailed in a closely fought match winning 25-23. As expected the top two teams showcased their talent in an exhilarating final set of the season. Redvers won another closely fought match, 26-24 to take the championship. All in all in was a very successful junior year that say 11 Grade 9's win games, tournements, and the championship, all the while preparing them for next year's senior team.
