The Midale SCC had a busy year. Our Annual meeting was held in October with members being: Colleen Scharnatta, Tracy Orsted, Carol Toles, Denise Mohr, Berla Palmer, Wendy Prawdzik with student members Michaella T. and Danae L.
We attempted to hold a Community Christmas Party in November but with low tickets sales it had to be cancelled. We then had to rely on ‘Old Faithfull’, the Carnival. It was a great success and was attended by many parents and students.
The SCC helped to fund the mentorship program, scholarships, school presentations and bought additional playground equipment. As we continue to build a bridge between our school and community, we hope for continued success in the coming year.

We have some new playground equipment to install and need your help. We will be setting a date for the installation of the new swings and other equipment in the near future.
The annual meeting for the School Community Council is October 19th @ 7:00pm. If you are interested in becoming a part of the SCC please plan to attend.
