We are looking at the possibility of Drama 30 being offered as an elective for the 2012-13 school year. This class is only open to students who will be in Grade 12 in the fall. Here is a description of the class.
Drama 30 is an experience-based class involving improvisation, characterization, movement, speech, theatre study, and theatre history. Other areas of study will include scriptwriting, directing, and technical theatre. Students will develop an understanding of the process and elements involved in creating works of dramatic art, acting skills, and the role of drama in various cultures. Students will also exercise critical thought and support opinions when responding to dramatic presentations.
If you are interested in taking Drama 30 next year, please go to the office for a sign-up form. The form must be handed in to the office no later than Wednesday, May 9.
