It was Henry Adams who one said, “a teacher affects eternity, he can never tell where his influence stops.” Indeed the selfless service, diligence, resilience and commitment of the teachers and staff of the SECPSD epitomize the effective leadership and instructional framework that the division prides itself in. Our teachers and staff are important to us, and the service they render is unmatched. Their willingness to go the extra mile, to effect positive change, to influence behaviour and perception and to instill morals are values are critical to the development of our students and communities; for these and other sacrifices, they can never truly be re-paid. Our teachers stimulate and transform our students into model citizens. The SECPSD lauds our teachers and staff for their support over the years and hopes that together we will continue to raise the bar and ensure success and achievement for every student in every school.
The SECPSD wishes for each and every teacher/staff a memorable Teacher Appreciation Week; one filled with not just lots of goodies, but with continued joy, a sense of achievement and accomplishment and a passion for student edification.
