
Carol Flynn - Subdivision 1

Carol represents Subdivision No. 1. She resides with her husband Dale on an acreage near Moosomin. Carol is a partner with her husband and son Aaron, in Tridaron Construction. They are very busy with house construction and other building projects in the Moosomin area.
Carol has four grown children, Shawna, Michael, Torrie and Aaron, and six grandchildren. Carol taught school in Moosomin, Raymore, and Maryfield. Her board involvement began with the Maryfield Local Board as Chairperson until she was elected to the Moosomin School Division Board of Education. She was serving in her third term with the Moosomin Board at the time of amalgamation. Carol is Chairperson of the South East Cornerstone School Division and is proud to be part of a team who work together towards success and achievement for all students in all our schools.
Harold Laich - Subdivision 2 |

Harold, elected in 2009 as the representative for Subdivision 2, is married to Jane who is a Senior Policy Analyst with the provincial Municipal Affairs branch. They have three children: Jordan – Laich Consulting Ltd. in Estevan, Brooks – Washington Capitals (NHL), and Jodi – Industrial Systems Engineer with Barr Engineering in Lloydminster. Wawota is home for the family.
After 34 years in education as a teacher (Leader), principal (Wawota), Director of Education (Moosomin), and Deputy Director of Education (South East Cornerstone, Weyburn), Harold retired in 2007. He holds a B. Ed., P. G. D. in Educational Administration, and a Masters degree in Educational Administration. Harold stays active in the community as a Lions member (37 years), Emergency Medical Responder, and community volunteer. He strongly supports the youth, teachers and support staff in the public education system, and is a keen advocate for the quality of education provided by the division's schools. |
Daryl Harrison - Subdivision 3

Daryl represents Subdivision No. 3. Daryl was born in Redvers and raised on a ranch west of Alida. He currently resides in Alida with his wife Cheryl. They have six children. Daryl is a former Trustee of the Souris Moose Mountain School Division, on the Board of Directors of the Prairie Pride CU and a member of the Alida & District Lions Club. He enjoys all sports and is a season ticket holder of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Daryl is employed with Zargon Oil & Gas as a Production Foreman and works a small ranch.

Kevin Keating - Subdivision 4

Kevin represents subdivision 4. Kevin worked with the City of Estevan for 16 years as a maintenance supervisor and seven years with South East Cornerstone School Division in the same capacity. As of November 1, 2009 he retired from the school division and has purchased T.K. Trailer Sales with his wife Brenda and Leonard and Ellen Thievin. Kevin is running the business out of Manor, SK where he resides.
Kevin has been married for 39 years to Brenda and has two grown children, plus four grandchildren. Mike works for Power Dodge in Estevan and Michelle is a Special Care Aide. Kevin is active in sports such as curling and golf and likes cheering on the Roughriders. He also paints watercolours and does some stained glass and pottery. Kevin and Brenda's favourite pastime is camping.
Audrey Trombley - Subdivision 5

Audrey was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan and raised in the Clashmoor district (Audrey Stevenson). She attended Girwood School to Grade 9 and received her High School education in Tisdale. Audrey married Mel Trombley and they have two sons and one daughter. They moved to the Weyburn area in 1966. In 1981, Audrey entered municipal work. She graduated from the Local Government Administration program in 1983, and worked as Assistant Administrator in the RM of Estevan where she completed her training in rural government. She obtained her Rural C Certificate in 1984 and remained in Estevan until she moved to the RM of Griffin as Administrator in 1985. She obtained a Rural Class A in 1987 and a Superior Certificate and a Certificate of Business Administration in 1993. In 2002, she completed the Trustee Development Program (TDP) through Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. Audrey served as Director of RMAA for Division 1 from May 1988 to May 1990, when she was elected as Vice-President. Audrey served as President of the RMAA from May 1994 to May 1998. She has held the position of Administrator for the Rural Municipality of Griffin form 1985 to present.
Throughout her career, Audrey has been a member of several boards and committees both local, provincial and federal. Audrey was elected to the South Central School Division Board in 2003 and served as Chair of that board. She was elected to the South East Cornerstone School Division in June of 2005 and served as board chair until November of 2009. After being re-elected in October 2009 Audrey advised the board that she would not seek the position of chair as she was looking forward to serving as a board member. |

Bruce Wagner - Subdivision 6

Bruce represents Subdivision No. 6. Together with his wife Janice, they operate an organic grain farm and a woodworking business near Weyburn. They have four sons. Their oldest son is currently enrolled at the University of Regina in his fourth year and their next son is attending the University of Saskatchewan in his second year. Their third son is graduating this year with plans of becoming a teacher and their youngest son is in Grade 5.
Bruce has been involved with Queen Elizabeth School in Weyburn as a Local Board member for 10 years and then 2 years as a division trustee with South Central School Division before becoming a board member on the new South East Cornerstone School Division. Bruce has been a councilor on the rural municipality in which he resides for the past 10 years.
Bryan Wilson - City of Weyburn

Bryan represents the City of Weyburn. Bryan grew up in the Parkman area on a family farm. He attended a country school for grades 1 to 9 and then completed his high school years in Wawota. He attended the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Regina earning a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts degree and then became a teacher. Bryan completed his Masters of Education degree from San Diego State University. Bryan is married to Jackie and they have three children: Jessi, Cedric and Adam.
Bryan taught in Kipling, and at the Weyburn Comprehensive School. He taught mostly history, economics and math. He was also the Vice-Principal and Principal at the Weyburn Comp for 11 years. Bryan retired from teaching in 2000 and then worked at NSWB law firm in Weyburn as a Corporate Legal Assistant for 3 years. He was a member of the Sunrise School Division Board for one term before being elected to the South East Cornerstone School Division.
Len Williams - City of Weyburn

Len represents the City of Weyburn. Len was born in Redvers and raised for a short time in Storthoaks. The rest of the time he grew up in Weyburn. He has a B.Ed. from the University of Saskatchewan, and a B.PE. from the University of Manitoba. Len is married to Jacquie and they have four children. Len’s entire teaching career was filled with coaching and the administration of athletics.
Pam Currie - City of Estevan

Pam represents the City of Estevan, lives in the City and has worked for the City of Estevan for the past 25 years where she is currently the Facilities Manager. She has been married to Paul for 28 years and they have 2 children, Adam and Rheannon. Pam has been very active in the community, volunteering for many organizations. In her spare time she and Paul enjoy riding their motorcycles. In 1996, Pam was first elected to the Estevan Public School Board, then in 2005 helped with the transition of the amalgamation into the South East Cornerstone School Division. She is currently the Vice-Chair for the Board and says it has been a very interesting past 5 years. Pam feels they have accomplished a lot and is looking forward to the future, for our kids and our division.
Janet Foord - City of Estevan

Janet Foord is one of South East Cornerstone's trustees representing the City of Estevan. She is also currently serving her second term as Vice President of the Saskatchewan School Boards Association. In her capacity as an Executive Member of the SSBA, she also serves on numerous committees and advisory groups.
She is the mother of 2 adult sons, Shane and Craig, both in the work force; Rebecca, student at the University of Ottawa; and Shaylee, who is in grade ten at the Estevan Comp. In her professional life, she is a faux-finish artist/entrepreneur and presently owns an interior design business. She most recently was part of a group of North American artists who participated in a mural project in Spain. Future projects in Italy/Spain are on the horizon for 2011. |
