Daily Announcements

Our spring musical this year is "High School Musical"!  If you are in Grades 10, 11, or 12 and would like to be a part of this musical in any way at all, please meet in the Choral Room on Thursday at 11:45. a.m.  This will be an organizational and sign-up meeting!  Rehearsals will begin next week!

 

Any students who would like to volunteer at the Provincial Cheerleading Championships on Saturday, March 25th please see Mrs. Moffatt in room 413.  There are a variety of jobs available throughout the day and you can probably even sneak a peek at the action!

 

Souris School has a volunteer opportunity on Friday, March 24th.  They will be running a day camp and taking students on a field trip. Volunteers arrive at 11 to set up activities. Souris School will provide all volunteers with a lunch. Students will be arriving at 1pm to 3pm.  To sign up to volunteer or if you have any questions please call Souris School 842-2721 and leave a message for Shannon Seitz.

 

Staff yoga is on for Tuesday, March 28.  Period 3 yoga will be in the Eagle's Gym for Gr.10-12 teachers and period 4 will be in the Cugnet Centre for Gr.7-9 teachers.  Bring a yoga mat if you have one.

 

Jr. Girls' Basketball players: Please wash and return your uniforms to Mr. Johnson.

 

Bro's Club is going bowling next Wednesday.  Get your permission slips from Mr. Olson if you wish to attend.

In-Car Driver Training- When you see your name on  the schedule, it is up to you to make sure you do not have any quizzes or exams at the same time you are driving.  If you see a conflict, contact Mrs. Vollbrecht immediately to change your driving time.  It is not acceptable to notify her or Mrs. Fellner the day of your drive to say that you can't make it. Please do your part!

 

Grade 12 students:  Saskatchewan Polytechnic Information Night is on Tuesday, March 21st from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can register online in advance. See Student Services for more details.

 

There will be a Driver Training class offered this summer for 2 weeks.  Please listen to announcements for more information on dates and times.

Congratulations to the Cheer and Pom teams on their wins in Regina over the weekend! The Senior Cheer won 1st, Senior Pom won 2nd, Junior Pom won 1st and Junior Cheer won 2nd.

They are looking for 6 people to come help supervise the evening.  Duties include serving snacks, sitting with students, helping them with their bingo cards and handing out prizes.  If students are interested in volunteering they can call Souris School 842-2721 and ask for Shannon.

Newer Announcements and Reminders

 

Congratulations to the Junior boys basketball team for defeating Estevan in the Intermediate districts Monday night.  Great way to end the season boys.

 

School Clothing:  Mrs. Beam and Mrs. Johnston will be handing out the clothing during Period 3 lunch today in the Commons Area.  Come and get your order please.  Grade 7-9, your clothing will be in the office….come get it during your lunch period.

 

Grade 11 course selection appointments are starting today….make sure you check the schedules posted in all the Classrooms.  We are doing Mr. Lueck and Mr. Niev's SAS classes today

Grades 7, 8, 9's – The Cugnet Centre will be closed at lunch today (Wednesday) due to the mess you are leaving in the change rooms.  You will have to stay in the Commons area or go outside.  If this continues, you will lose access to the Cugnet Centre at noon.  Clean up after yourselves!

 

Tuesday FIP Student Volunteer Interviews have been switched to Thursday this week.  Come see Mrs. Campbell if there are any issues.
